Our client is seeking a Plant Manager to lead and manage the Production Plant and Operations function

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leadership role
Food manufacturing industry experience is essential
Strong working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations
Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S, and cost reduction initiatives
Proven ability to manage plant budgets, KPIs, productivity, losses, and operational performance
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain
Solid understanding of South African labour legislation (BCEA) and experience working with unions
Proven experience with SAP (production planning, materials management, reporting)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong data analysis capability
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to drive change, foster accountability, and support sustainability and ESG initiatives
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
