A well-established company in Port Elizabeth has a new opportunity for a PLC Software Engineer in the Automation projects and software development space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

The candidate will be required to use their expertise in both software (PLC and SCADA) and engineering (electrical, mechanical) to design, implement and commission Automation projects.

Education:

BEng in Mechatronics /Electronics

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Ability to work shifts and move between project and support roles
Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC programming
C# programming
Robots, Electrical Design, Mech Design
Java, SQL server
Design, Installations, Commissioning, Support
SCADA, HMI, MES and Application development
Pre-Sales
Project management as required
required to do support
