Unique opportunity for an Engineer to join an established manufacturing and FMCG distribution business as Packaging Manager.

Products sold both in SA and International markets. This is a Cape Town based opportunity.

The company is currently focused on research and product development. The Packaging Manager will report into the CEO, and work alongside the packaging design specialist on the full spectrum of packaging development. The role will co-ordinate the process of creating bespoke packaging, from initial concept design and 3D prototyping to final print, production and manufacturing.

Ideally the team is looking for :

Strong Engineering degree
8+ years’ experience in plastics (preferably in cosmetic, pharma or personal care industries)
Strong technical orientation; high attention to detail; an appreciation for clean functional design; an aptitude for solving complex problems with simple, process driven solutions; and an ability to plan and lead cross-team projects.
