Paid Media Specialist

Seeking a Paid Media Specialist to join an international business and work between USA, UK, South Africa, and Indonesia.

You will lead the planning, implementation, optimisation, and reporting of performance marketing initiatives, to help drive traffic and maximise ROI across all channels. 

Overview:
The Paid Media Specialist will work with the Digital Marketing Manager on strategy creation, and be responsible for the implementation, performance, and measurement of our campaigns across all digital and
paid media channels, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads and LinkedIn Ads, YouTube and TikTok.
You will have excellent working knowledge of paid media channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter, LinkedIn Ads) and a strategic understanding of digital marketing approaches and techniques.

Requirements:
• Extensive experience of Facebook, Google paid ads, ideally with a physical e-commerce product
• Comfort with Shopify platform and wider ecosystem
• Confidence managing ad budgeting to ensure spending is grown appropriately to maintain bottom line margins
• Ability to add new perspectives and insights to data, helping to drive sales
• Native level English is needed to ensure ad copy can be iterated effectively

Technical Experience Requirements:
• Google ads (all ad types), data studio, my business, analytics (GA4), merchant, tag manager, console, and YouTube
• Facebook Ads, business manager, commerce manager, events, pixel, and product feeds management
• Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn Ads platforms
• Attribution knowledge and reporting
• Paid media strategy creation and implementation
• 3-5 years’ experience within a similar role

Preferred Certifications:
• Google AdWords & Analytics Certified
• Meta Blueprint Certification
• Alternative Marketing specific certifications beneficial
• Marketing Communication Degree Beneficial

Beneficial experience:
• Work with regulated product categories such as personal protective equipment (PPE), medical or food
• Management of ad account suspensions by Facebook or Google
• Track record of entrepreneurialism or running a small team
• Selling physical products globally
• Understanding of logistics/fulfilment challenges
• Ability to evaluate good ad content (visual and wording) and advise on improvements
