P ayroll Coordinator Join an industry-leading payroll department, managing UK payroll portfolios while delivering exceptional customer service. Cape Town - Wembley | Full-Time, Office-Based | 9:00am - 6:00pm SAST | R24,000 per month, negotiable ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client specialises in delivering payroll, management and intermediary services to UK contractors and temporary workers and is one of the fastest-growing companies in the Solent Region. The business operates within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing payroll services to Umbrella and Bureau clients. THE ROLE: PAYROLL COORDINATOR The Payroll Coordinator will work within an industry-leading payroll department, managing Umbrella and Bureau client portfolios. The role requires a high level of attention to detail while delivering exceptional customer service and building strong, credible and lasting relationships with clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a portfolio of Umbrella clients. Deliver exceptional customer service. Process expenses. Process holiday requests. Process advance requests. Respond to customer queries. Generate and send invoices to clients. Reconcile received payments. Work with the Finance Department to ensure a smooth flow of information. Manage a portfolio of Bureau client payrolls. Process new starters. Process payroll. Complete pension uploads. Process PAYE payments to HMRC. Complete any other ad hoc duties as requested. ABOUT YOU At least 2 years' experience processing PAYE payroll - required. Matric pass. Excellent understanding of UK Tax and NI - required. Comprehensive knowledge of Excel and Outlook - required. High level of attention to detail - required. Experience working in a high-speed office environment - required. UK experience is ideal but not essential. Contractor or bulk payroll experience is ideal. Experience speaking with customers on the phone - desired. Knowledge or experience of Umbrella payroll - desired. Customer service or phone training - desired. Experience with the Merit payroll system is ideal but not essential. BENEFITS Benefits will be available after probation.
