SUMMARY:
My client, a Giant in the various industries, is seeking a well versed Payroll Manager with SAGE VIP experience to join their friendly team in Durban.

POSITION INFO:
Duties: Manage Entire Payroll Function

Implement, maintain and review payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, statutory deductions, benefits, garnishments and other deductions i.e. loans, AOD’s, etc.
Reconcile benefits to monthly schedules/invoices received
(Discovery & Vitality, GAP, Nedbank Medical Savings, Momentum, Stratfin)
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
Facilitate HR/Payroll Audits
Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems and procedures
Submit monthly statutory reports (EMP201 & UIF declarations)

Requirements:

Matric
Finance Diploma
At least 2 years experience in a similar role
Must have management experience
Sage VIP People experience
ESS experience

· Submit bi-annual tax submissions (February and August)
· Submit STATSSA
