Payroll Manager

SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a qualified candidate to step in as a Payroll Manager, ideally from mining and construction industries!!

POSITION INFO:
My client an engineering giant that specializes in the construction and mining sectors is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager.  The ideal incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and administration, managing a team of 7, ensure employees and third parties are paid accurately, on time and according to legislation, ensures that all financial capturing and processing is done in accordance with the Company ‘policies and procedures, identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
 
Minimum qualification requirements and skills:
Degree / National Diploma in accounting / payroll management or relevant field
5 – 8 years’ experience within a payroll supervision role
Construction, engineering or mining industry experience a non-negotiable
Symplexity system experience is a non-negotiable
Expert knowledge of payroll processing procedures
Sound knowledge of payroll related legislation such as personal tax
Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
