Payroll Manager

SUMMARY:
Construction Payroll Manager sought urgently - ( manage team of 7 on Symplexity Payroll System )

POSITION INFO:

Suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Payroll Manager.

The successful incumbent will report directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (“GCFO”).
The successful incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and administration, and the management of the Payroll Department (team of 7), to ensure employees and third parties are paid accurately, on time and according to legislation.

Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates including disabled applicants. (Ideal candidate would be Female African,Asian or Coloured)

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

- Degree/National Diploma in accounting, payroll management, HR or a related field
- A relevant post graduate qualification would be an advantage                                  - Appropriate professional membership would be an advantage

Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll supervision within construction, engineering, mining or related environment.

- Experience with an established integrated payroll and human resources system (experience with the Symplexity system would be a distinct advantage).
- Experience with multiple payrolls, including hourly-paid wages and monthly-paid salaries – as well as foreign jurisdictions, such as Botswana.
