SUMMARY:
A giant operating within the Construction space is in search of a highly experienced Payroll Manager to join their dynamic team. If you meet the below requirements, don't hesitate to send your application. This role is available in Johannesburg East.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Financial Management or Accounting
5-7 years of experience
Mining, Construction or Engineering experience
Wages, Multiple payrolls, and Forex experience

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Payroll Manager’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Ensures that all financial capturing and processing is done in accordance to the Company’s policies and procedures.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new employee. Engagements, terminations, and changes to pay rates, job titles, and department/ divisional transfers.
Prepares various reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages/ salaries.
Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
Ensures that all approvals and governance steps are compiled with before payroll payments are made.
Prepares various EFT files for payment
Ensures compliance with relevant laws, best practice and internal policies
