SUMMARY:
Payroll Manager

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma
• Qualification in PAYE will be advantageous
• Qualification in payroll will be advantageous
• 5 years’ experience of which at least 2 years have been in a senior role
• Fluent in English
• Drivers’ license and own vehicle
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Deadline driven
• Strong organisational & coordination skills

Duties:

• Manage the full payroll process
• Manage all payroll administration
• Checking of payroll before releasing prelims
• Signing off of all required payroll reports
• Statutory reporting
• Ensuring payroll is set-up correctly
• Pension fund and medical aid administration
• Perform salary benchmarking
• Identify opportunities to improve employee rewards & recognition
• Advise on how to best structure salaries and/or rewards
• Salary increase letters.
• Managing the payroll team
• Assist the Head of HR as needed
