SUMMARY:
Payroll Manager opportunity for leading Education Group based in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:

N.B. Only candidates who have had the job title "Payroll Manager" or "Benefits Manager" will be considered

Candidates who have had joint titles of HR & Payroll will not be shortlisted

Requirements:

COMPLETED relevant Degree/Diploma NON-negotiable
Qualification in PAYE will be advantageous
Qualification in payroll will be advantageous
5 years’ experience of which at least 2 years as a PAYROLL MANAGER
Fluent in English
Drivers’ license and own vehicle
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Deadline driven
Strong organisational & coordination skills

Duties:

Manage the full payroll process
Manage all payroll administration
Checking of payroll before releasing prelims
Signing off of all required payroll reports
Statutory reporting
Ensuring payroll is set-up correctly
Pension fund and medical aid administration
Perform salary benchmarking
Identify opportunities to improve employee rewards & recognition
Advise on how to best structure salaries and/or rewards
Salary increase letters
Managing the payroll team
Assist the Head of HR as needed
