SUMMARY:
Payroll Specialist
Our client, specialising in the Financial Planning are currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist that would be based in Bedfordview, Gauteng. The successful candidate should come with at least 2 years’ experience within a similar role.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant Tertiary qualification.
• Valid Driver’s License and own Vehicle.
• Essential: Extensive knowledge Pastel and Microsoft Office.
• Essential: Tax principles and legislative knowledge.

• Generate EMP201 returns and notify clients of PAYE obligations before the 7th of the following month.
• Complete and submit Annual and Bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations.
• Issue IRP5 certificates, as necessary.
• Prepare and file annual Workers' Compensation Fund (WCA) returns.
• Ensure compliance with South African Revenue Service (SARS) regulations for all clients.
• Address and resolve any SARS compliance issues affecting the client portfolio.
• Facilitate the registration of new payroll clients for PAYE, UIF, and WCA contributions.
• Timely request payroll details and relevant documentation for monthly payroll processing.
• Compile and distribute payroll, including pay slips and pertinent reports to a client base of 120 monthly.
