Payroll and Compliance Officer

SUMMARY:
Our BPO client, based in Cape Town CBD, is looking to employ a suitably qualified Payroll and Compliance officer to join their growing team.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Finance
• 2 – 4 years experience in financial/payroll and compliance role

KPA''s

• Responsible for payroll outcomes for SA location, People budget and invoice management. 
• Responsible for all HR Compliance activities, including file compliance, administrative duties and audit controller. 
• The incumbent would be responsible for weekly and monthly reports, compliance meetings and relationship with external vendors (off site file storage, file content management on system, liaison with recruitment team to ensure all compliance information. 
• Responsible for retrieval of compliance documents for audit purposes.
• Timeous closure of payroll actions (Monthly, Quarterly and annually)
• Timeous closure of budget and invoice actions (Monthly and annually)
• Supporting the HRBP with their timeous payroll activities closures
• Closure of all compliance audits and activities within the given timelines
• Timeous closure and distribution of weekly and monthly reports to all stakeholders
• Support CSR and sweat equity initiatives and activities in alignment to the BBBEE strategy
• Attend Monthly 3^rd Party liaison meetings on project/actions closures
• Manage internal and external relationships to ensure compliance
• Drive process improvement as part of the overall HR Strategy
