Responsibilities:

• Production Support: In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential production support to users of PeopleSoft Financials. Your duties will include troubleshooting issues, conducting maintenance tasks, and configuring modules such as General Ledger, Payables, and Receivables.

• User Support: During critical processing periods, such as month-end and year-end financial close, you will play a pivotal role in offering high-quality user support, ensuring smooth operations.

• Interface Management: You'll manage and resolve issues related to 3rd party interfaces, both inbound and outbound, connecting with the PeopleSoft Financials environment.

• Business Analysis: As a Business Systems Analyst, you will perform crucial business analysis functions. This involves gathering comprehensive requirements, creating essential documentation, configuring user security, mapping process flows, and designing functional specifications.

• Reporting: Utilizing your expertise in PeopleSoft and other reporting tools like BI Publisher, SQR, and nVision, you will design and generate financial reports that provide critical insights for informed decision-making.

• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with the Company's Change Management and Security policies, as well as staying up-to-date with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, will be part of your responsibilities.

• Audit Support: You will be responsible for fulfilling requests from both internal and external auditors. Providing complete and accurate audit support documents, including reports, screenshots, and process flow documentation, within required timelines is a crucial aspect of this role.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial suite of products, specially Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
• Possess a mid-level proficiency with MS-SQL – ability to design and execute SQL queries on Peoplesoft financials tables and interpret SQL scripts
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with business functional users to comprehend business requirements for system development and modifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex technical and business processes for detailed testing and troubleshooting
• Ability to translate technical terms into clear, concise language that non-technical users can understand; in addition, be able to translate business terms into technical requirements
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels - employees, customers, vendors, consultants
• Must be organized with the ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task projects of varying size, scope, importance, etc.
• Must have a moderate understanding of Accounting/finance acumen
• Able to command the attention and respect of highly technical associates.
• Able to multitask projects simultaneously.
• Able to work effectively during frequent periods of time constraints where stress may be present.
• Able to work nonstandard hours which may include nights and weekends (we support a global environment).
• Able to navigate technical issues and evaluate risk.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and activities.

Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience supporting Financials modules of an enterprise ERP system (Oracle, SAP, Workday, JDE / OneWorld)
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience supporting PeopleSoft financials modules and query/reporting tools (GL, Payables, Receivables, nVision)
• 2+ years’ experience using versions of PeopleTools 8.58 and higher
• 2+ years’ experience using at least three of the following toolsets: XML, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Component Interface
• Experience designing & creating financial reports using Peoplesoft & other reporting tools – BI publisher, SQR, nVision, PeopleSoft Query)
• Experience performing a full-cycle PeopleSoft version upgrade and/or PeopleTools upgrade

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to support PeopleSoft nVision financial report processes and nVision report development
• Working knowledge of Peoplesoft Integration Broker functionality, Component Interfaces and Web Services
• Multi-lingual – Spanish and or French will be an advantage
