JOB SUMMARY:
An innovative healthcare company has an opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Manager for OTC products.  A network of existing relationships with chain stores would secure.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Matric with a relevant tertiary degree or diploma (preferably in Health Sciences).
Minimum 3-5 years, proven management experience and success in a marketing and/or sales position.
Good knowledge, experience and established networks within the South African Healthcare environment.
Existing relationship with chain stores such as Dischem and Clicks will secure
Must have a proven track record of coaching and leading teams.
Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy
which focuses resources on maximizing market share and achieving sales and operating profitability
Responsible for all sales aspects including prospecting, new business development, customer base expansion, opportunity management, proposal generation, presentations and closing business
Key responsibility for managing a team of Sales Representatives, In-store Promoters and Sales and Merchandising Agencies by providing consistent and uniform direction regarding execution of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Achieve sales targets at all channels and key accounts level.
Implement and ensure pull-through of promotional strategies at national and regional levels.
Analyse sales performance, market and competitor feedback
Lead and develop the Sales Representatives, In-store Promoters, Sales and Merchandising Agencies
Manage the development and implementation of marketing and product launch plans
Responsible for the strategic development, preparation and timeous revision of the annual Business Plan.
Manage the development and implementation of direct-to-consumer, social media and e-commerce marketing campaigns to build brand equity, customer endorsement and consumer mind share.
Plan and control marketing expenditure, according to product priorities and focus on advertising and promotion and other controllable expenses.
