SUMMARY:
An extensive background in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry combined with a Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration qualification. At least 5 years' management experience in metal processing / mechanical process assembly plants as well as automotive systems are essential. An entrepreneurial spirit, managerial expertise and high analytical strategic skills are prerequisites.

Requirements:

Requires a degree in business administration with majoring in mechanical engineering or production engineering
At least 5 years of professional experience in leading function
Best expertise in Automotive Systems
Professional experience in metal processing + mechanical process assembly
Entrepreneurial spirit and behavior/ managerial knowledge
Organizational skills
High analytical strategic skills
Cooperative management behavior and team spirit
Sense of responsibility and assertiveness
Awareness of quality and costs

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibility for approximately 250 employees / manufacturing area 25 000 m2
Independent action taking into account legal requirements
Responsibility for all direct and indirect processes /outputs of division
Representation of company to externals
Safeguarding production volumes and quality taking into account budget targets of current fiscal year
Responsibility for appropriate budget planning in consultation with Finance and GM
Continuous optimization of production process and support of lean production implementation
Responsible for legal compliance (e.g. work safety)
Safeguarding compliance of processes within production of TS 16949
Initiate activities of quality improvement
Leading and developing employees of own section
Ensuring audit conformity (e.g. IATF)
