Power Platform Developer

SUMMARY:
MTS's client based in Kempton in the Freight and Logistics sector is looking for a skilled Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support scalable digital solutions that improve business processes and efficiency. This role focuses on hands-on development across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, translating business requirements into practical, high-quality solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Transformation, or related field.
• Power Platform certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital transformation, business process automation, or similar roles.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-level digital solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional transformation projects.

• Lead and mature the organisation’s digital transformation roadmap aligned to business objectives.
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks for the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Evaluate digital maturity and recommend solutions that enhance operational excellence.

• Architect scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Power Platform solutions: requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and optimisation.
• Implement automation workflows that eliminate manual processes and increase efficiency.
• Build dashboards and data models using Power BI to support strategic decision-making.

• Partner with departments to identify digital pain points and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Drive adoption of new tools through user guidance, training, and continuous support.
• Ensure seamless integration of digital systems into daily operations.

• Monitor emerging digital technologies and trends to keep the organisation competitive.
• Lead digital innovation pilots and scale successful initiatives enterprise-wide.
• Review existing systems and propose enhancements to ensure optimal performance.

• Manage multiple digital transformation projects concurrently from conception to completion.
• Develop documentation including solution specifications, workflows, SOPs, and support guides.
• Ensure adherence to standards, security requirements, and statutory regulations.

• Advanced Microsoft Power Platform proficiency (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Strong technical, analytical, and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
