Pretoria – Sales Representative

Duties and Responsibilities

• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective

customers

• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities,

and potential for new products and services.

• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

• Continuously improve through feedback

Working hours : Monday to Thursday from 7:30 to 16:15. The nature of your duties may require staff to work at times other than the normal stipulated hours of work.

You will receive a fuel card for business purposes only. You may however use fuel to the value

of R200 per month as private. Your vehicle is to be re-fueled at close of business each

Thursday and again prior to commencing work each Monday.

Private fuel use in excess of the allowance will be recovered from your salary

Requirements/Qualifications

Matric Qualification
2 or more years’ experience as a sales representative.
Experience with FMCG is beneficial
Valid Driver’s Licence
Own Car Essential
Computer Literate (Excel intermediate
