JOB SUMMARY:
A position has opened up for a qualified and experienced Pricing Manager in Paarl. Must have experience with B2B experience. Proficient with SAP essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Relevant degree
More than 3 years experience in a pricing/costing position in a manufacturing environment where raw materials are produced
B2B experience
Proficient with SAP
Strong attention to detail

Duties:

Collection of data to determine costs of business activities, including raw material purchases, inventory, labour, changes in manufacturing methods, etc. to determine the effect on costs.
Analyse actual versus standard manufacturing costs and prepare reports to compare the two.
Estimate new and proposed product costs, benchmarking against industry standards.
Compare and analyse cost variances.
Specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products.
Daily pricing of new product developments and pricing of existing products to B2B customers.
Gather & analyse information concerning relevant price trends and developments on the procurement markets.
Support the Sales team in the proper use of our SAP-based pricing tool and ensure that the underlying database is always up-to-date and correct.
Daily coordination of the required data with the relevant departments (Purchasing, Research & Development, Master Data team, Logistics, Global product costing, etc.) for the optimal function of the pricing tool.
