POSITION INFO:

Ownership of the annual planning processes
Deliver annual “budget books” with details supporting key budget lines
Ownership of the company financial forecasting processes
Ensure that there are robust budget and forecast models supporting the 3-year financial plans, one-year budgets, and short-term forecast
Monthly financial reporting for shareholders
Present financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders
Continuously seek improvements in the accounting processes and procedures and manage changes that are implemented for process improvement
Management of staff members
Attend and resolve staff related issues
Ascertain all people’s administrative matters are effectively handled

Skills & Experience:
5+ years’ experience in a management accounting and/or financial performance and planning role
2-3 years management experience
3+ years’ experience within a medium to large organisation
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills including variance analysis and interpreting the impact of current/forecast circumstances on future business performance
Strong accounting knowledge (IFRS, etc)
Knowledge of retail financial services business or similar larger corporate environments

Qualification:
3 Year Degree in Accounting, Financial Accounting and/or Business
CA(SA) or equivalent
