An exciting opportunity for a CFO in Cape Town. This is a permanent role, ideal for a finance expert with a Master's Degree and CA(SA) qualification.

POSITION INFO:

An established automotive company in Johannesburg is seeking a highly strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team and play a key role in steering the business into its next growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support growth and profitability.
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to optimise financial performance.
Provide strategic input on mergers, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team to ensure operational excellence.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years post-articles experience, with at least 5 years at an executive/leadership level.
- Strong exposure to the automotive or manufacturing industry is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record in financial strategy, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the board level.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and financial modelling.
