Report to: Managing Partner

About the Role

As a Private Wealth Manager at Carrick Wealth Nigeria, your primary objective is to provide expert financial advice and solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. You will be responsible for developing leads, referrals and overall business within the accepted means and routes to market availed to the Company by the regulator. After developing the business, you will be responsible for analysing clients' financial situations, recommending appropriate strategies and products, and ensuring that their wealth is effectively managed and protected. Acting in the best interest of the client, you will deliver unbiased professional advice while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families.
Generate new business through referrals, networking, and approved business development activities.
Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and provide tailored wealth management solutions.
Advise clients on investment, retirement, estate, and wealth preservation strategies.
Monitor client portfolios and recommend adjustments in line with changing circumstances and market conditions.
Achieve agreed client acquisition, revenue, and asset growth targets.
Deliver an exceptional end-to-end client experience.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
Stay informed on market trends, financial products, and legislative developments

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant financial planning, wealth management, or investment qualifications.
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Financial Advisory, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Financial Planning, or a related field.
Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and business development.
Strong understanding of investment products, wealth management principles, and financial markets.
Experience working with affluent or high-net-worth clients is advantageous.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to meet regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to the financial services industry.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Business Development Identify and engage prospective clients through networking, referrals, and approved marketing initiatives. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects. Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and financial objectives. Convert opportunities into long-term client relationships. Financial Planning & Advisory Analyse clients' financial situations and develop personalised wealth management strategies. Recommend suitable investment, retirement, estate, and protection solutions. Provide ongoing financial guidance aligned with clients' evolving objectives and risk tolerance. Client Relationship Management Maintain regular contact with clients and conduct periodic portfolio reviews. Provide updates on market developments, investment opportunities, and legislative changes. Deliver a proactive and personalised service experience. Compliance & Administration Ensure all client documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date client records within the firm's CRM system. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Professional Development & Collaboration Participate in training, product provider meetings, and development programmes. Attend team and management meetings as required. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the firm's products, services, and value proposition. Represent the company professionally and uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
