Cape Town | Hybrid Our client, a global leader in the media and communications industry, is looking for a Process Analyst to join their Finance Transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong operational finance background who enjoys improving processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within finance operations and be confident working across end-to-end finance processes. Key Responsibilities Analyse and evaluate existing finance processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency Map and document end-to-end finance processes, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Support finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the business Work closely with finance teams to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and support project delivery Analyse data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making Identify opportunities for automation, process simplification, and improved controls Assist with testing, change management, user training, and the successful adoption of new processes and systems Collaborate with stakeholders across Shared Services and Finance teams to enhance operational effectiveness What We're Looking For We're seeking candidates with practical, hands-on experience in finance operations, including: Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (O2C) Record-to-Report (R2R) Reconciliations and month-end close processes Finance controls and governance Shared Services Finance environments Finance process improvement or transformation initiatives You should also have: Experience documenting and mapping business processes using tools such as Visio, Miro or Lucidchart Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI being advantageous Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement Preferred Experience Experience within a Shared Services environment Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar Experience supporting finance transformation or continuous improvement projects Experience within the media, digital or professional services sector will be advantageous Why Apply?
