Process Engineer

Our client has an opportunity available for a Process Engineer.

Requirements:

• Experience in:
  • Paint application methods.
  • Paint technology, preparation and testing.
  • Injection moulding and Plastic Technology.
  • Engineering drawing interpretations.
  • Paining and plastic parts manufacturing.
• T4 or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Paint Technology or Chemistry.
• 3 to 5 years in Process or Production Engineering in paint formulation.
• Understanding and competencies in PLX and robot programming.
• SAPMA Paint Technology training certification.

Responsibilities:

• Control paint and injection moulding processes for new and existing models.
• Carry out improvement programs into existing processes.
• Planning, specifying and implementation of tooling, equipment and processes and introduction of new models.
• Engineering related production, paint concerns and countermeasure problem solving skills.
• Specification of tooling and equipment with regards to facility, paint application and preparation processes.
• New process development.
