Process Engineer : Operations

SUMMARY:
My client in the northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Process Engineer (Operations) to join their team. Solid experience with Six Sigma (minimum Green Belt), proficient in ERP/WMS systems and data driven problem solving.  Continuous improvement mindset is essential.  This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, is adaptable and motivated to deliver lasting operational requirements.  South African citizens only.

POSITION INFO:
Required:

• 5 years in process engineering, CI or operational excellence in FMCG, Manufacturing or Supply Chain environments
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
• Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and related methodologies
• Degree in IE, Process Engineering, Operations Management or related field
• Project Management certification is advantageous (PMP, Prince2, Agile)

• Mapping, analysing and redesigning processes to improve efficiency, cost and quality
• Facilitating workshops and design sessions to ensure stakeholder buy-in
• Delivering process improvement projects on time, within budget and with sustainable business impact
• Embedding Lean and CI practices across operations
• Drive adoption of redesigned process through training, coaching and change management
• Championing automation and digitization opportunities
