JOB SUMMARY:
Our client situated in the eastern suburbs of Johannesburg is looking for a Process Technician to join their highly efficient and dynamic team on a Contract basis

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Certification in 3D Modeling, any package, CATIA, Solid Works, Solid Edge, etc.
Certificate in 2D Drawing, any package, CATIA, Solid Works, Solid Edge, etc.
SAP experience
2 to 5 Years experience as a Process Technician

Job Description

Assist with the design of jigs; fixtures and production tooling
Produce drawing for designed jigs, fixtures, and production tooling to allow procurement of items
Monitor introduction of new tooling and modify the design to suit production if required
Monitor procurement process of assigned tooling
Assist with the design and drawing of production facilities
Assist with production facility layout and updating of layout for changes
Manage assigned facility introduction to RDM Boksburg facility – Change proposal, Layout, SOW, Procurement, and execution
Perform process trials for various process stages of new products or revised processes
Assist with drafting functions – drawing updates, drawing filing
Obtain Part numbers for new production components (tools, jigs) as per SAP and Team Center Procedures
Obtain Part numbers for Production Parts as per SAP and Team Center procedures
