Role Purpose
The Procurement Manager is a results-driven leader responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, and optimizing supply chain operations. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and developing robust supplier relationships to enhance organizational performance and support long-term business growth.

• Strategic Sourcing and global/local supply chain network management. Strong international import experience.
• High-level Contract Negotiation and risk mitigation.
• Strong Stakeholder Engagement and cross-functional communication.

• Advanced knowledge of automated procurement systems and applications.
• Strong proficiency in procurement analytics and data-driven reporting.
• Deep understanding of inventory planning and material flow tracking.

• Specialized training or certifications in Supply Chain Management and Procurement Management.
• Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks (ideally aligned with Deloitte standards or equivalent).
• Certified understanding of the Principles of Inventory Control and Materials Handling.

• Strategy Development: Develop and deliver innovative supplier strategies to improve cost-efficient partnerships.
• Relationship Management: Identify and nurture profitable, productive stakeholder and supplier relationships through networking and effective communication.
• Supply Base Expansion: Establish and manage a global and local supply base to support business strategy and growth.
• Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations and manage purchasing agreements to secure favorable terms and reduce risks.

• Inventory Optimization: Manage operational activities to maintain optimal stock levels and meet forecasted demand.
• Material Flow: Align production with demand by establishing priorities and optimizing material flowcharts to maximize daily output.
• Logistics & Shortages: Direct the procurement of raw materials, schedule production jobs, and coordinate logistics to resolve shortages swiftly.
• Automation: Utilize specialized systems and automation applications to enhance logistical operations and meet supply chain needs.

• Portfolio Savings: Identify key opportunities for time and money savings across all supply chain portfolios.
• Market Benchmarking: Conduct market test analysis and benchmark studies to evaluate buying opportunities and introduce cost savings.
• Financial Planning: Manage budget planning, vendor sourcing, and purchase order optimization.
• Commercial Support: Provide expert commercial advice and support to internal stakeholders to enhance overall supplier performance.

• Policy Enforcement: Enforce strict adherence to company policies, guidelines, and procurement procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct product quality analysis and supplier visits to ensure alignment with company standards and pricing value.
• Conflict Resolution: Mitigate supplier performance issues through outstanding problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Governance: Oversee governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) throughout the procurement lifecycle.

• KPI Optimization: Boost KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies across all supply chain functions.
• Team Development: Lead and develop internal procurement teams while fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Carry out comprehensive metric reporting and data analysis to aid effective executive decision-making.
• Briefings: Present regular supply chain briefings to identify development opportunities within procurement activities.
