Overview

A well-established organisation is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist with a strong focus on contract management. This role is ideal for someone experienced in strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle oversight, and supplier relationship management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring procurement processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities Procurement and Sourcing

• Manage full procurement processes including RFQs, RFPs, evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
• Build and maintain preferred supplier lists and strategic sourcing plans.

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure all contracts meet legal standards, company policies, and risk frameworks.
• Track contract performance, manage renewals and obligations, and keep a centralised repository updated.
• Handle dispute resolution processes in collaboration with legal teams.

Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement

• Assess supplier performance to ensure targets are met in quality, delivery, and cost.
• Act as a point of contact between suppliers and internal teams (e.g., legal, finance).
• Work closely with stakeholders to align procurement efforts with business needs.

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulations.
• Keep accurate records for audit purposes.
• Provide regular reports on KPIs, contract status, risk exposure, and cost savings.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Law, or similar.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in procurement, especially in contract negotiation and management.
• Strong track record with complex commercial contracts.
• Proficiency in systems such as SAP Ariba, Oracle, or Coupa.

Preferred:

• Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
• Knowledge of public procurement regulations.
• Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
