JOB SUMMARY:
Our client operating in the FMCG manufacturing sector is seeking a Procurement Supervisor. You will be required to procure goods and services to meet the business requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Diploma Procurement Management
Procurement or Commercial degree would be highly advantageous
5 years’ experience in a related role
FMCG manufacturing sector experience essential
Financial exposure in terms of procurement to payment, queries etc.
Risk Management expertise would be highly advantageous
SAP ERP experience essential
E-CAPEX expertise
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Project Management Skills
Managing people experience
Negotiation skills
Contract management experience
High level of accuracy
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of INCO Terms
Understanding of contracts and their sources
Understanding of legal issues pertaining to Procurement
Working knowledge of BBBEE Legislation
Basic understanding of economics (Exchange Rates, Indexes, PPI tables, etc.)
Understanding of Supply Chain Logistics in a commercial environment

Cost to company package that includes Pension, Medical Aid, and pro rata 13^th Cheque
