JOB SUMMARY:
Internationally established Manufacturing organisation based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town has an opportunity available for a dynamic Product Development Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas:

Analyse process/production data and identify potential machine replacements.
Stay up to date with latest manufacturing machines and technology.
Technical market research.
Interact with sales department to identify product opportunities.
Feasibility studies on new machines.
Present progress and provide feedback on findings.
Present production or process opportunities.
Visit production plants and provide feedback on areas of improvement.

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable
Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing/production environment.
2 years’ experience as a Research and Development Engineer.
Sound financial and business development acumen.
