POSITION INFO:
Qualification

• Matric with Pure Maths
• A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

• At least Ten (10) years' experience with at least five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business
• Analyst, or similar role in a large-scale ERP implementation, preferably with SYSPRO
• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and business processes in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong experience managing third-party vendors and complex, cross-functional projects
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels;
• A strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and data governance principles
• PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

• Strategic Leadership & Vision:
• Define, articulate, and maintain a clear product vision and strategy for the SYSPRO implementation
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the project, representing the needs of all key stakeholders and business units
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, and strategic goals
• Project & Vendor Management:
• Lead the collaboration and management of external third-party vendors and implementation partners, applying strong project management discipline to ensure the project stays on track, within scope, and on budget
• Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and review sessions with internal teams and external vendors
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, and report on project progress to senior leadership
• Business & Systems Analysis:
• Conduct in-depth business analysis and systems analysis to understand current processes, identify gaps, and define requirements for the new ERP system
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories and functional specifications for the development and implementation teams
• Ensure all system design decisions are aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility
• System Integration & Migration
• Manage the end-to-end migration process from JDE and other legacy systems to SYSPRO
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of all disparate systems (e.g., HR, CRM, manufacturing software) into the new ERP;
• Define and oversee the data migration strategy, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the transition;
• Stakeholder Communication & Change Management:
• Act as a central hub for communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
• Develop and implement a change management plan to ensure smooth user adoption and minimize disruption to business operations
• Provide regular, transparent updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
• Attend to audit queries as and when required; and
• Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope.
