In this Johannesburg-based Product Risk Team Lead role, you’ll oversee daily P&L and position reporting, collaborate with international stakeholders, and ensure system integrity within a world-class CTRM platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of daily and monthly P&L and position reports, providing clear attribution and commentary for senior management.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3–5 Risk Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Oversee CTRM system integrity, support system enhancements, and coordinate the resolution of technical issues.
• Drive continuous process improvement and contribute to strategic global projects across commodity desks.

• Education:
  • Relevant NQF Level 7 qualification in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
  • CA(SA) advantageous; CFA/FRM certification a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk management, product risk, or middle-office roles.
  • 3+ years leadership or team management experience.
  • Experience within trading or financial services preferred.
• Skills:
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.
  • Experience with CTRM systems highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage complex data environments.
• Other Requirements:
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
