JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Purpose
Responsible for assisting with various facets of the research, design, development, pricing and implementation of competitive and profitable smooth bonus and structured investment solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or related fields Completion of all A1, A2 and A3 level exams
At least two years working experience
Investment knowledge or relevant experience will be advantageous.
Good MS Excel skills
Advanced MS Excel capabilities as well as a working knowledge of SQL will be a distinct advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting with the development of new smooth bonus and structured investment solutions, including the necessary quantitative analysis and preparation of product approval documents for the various governance forums.
Identifying improvements to the current solution set or the management thereof, including obtaining approval for the changes from the various governance forums.
Preparing various reports, marketing material and content related to the solution set.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with various internal stakeholders and assisting them in analyzing, supplying, and translating information on smooth bonus and structured investment solutions.
Actively participating in the research and monitoring of the industry, target market and competitors to identify opportunities and threats as well as areas of improvements in solutions.
Assisting with analyzing financial metrics related to the solution set as well as the ongoing assessment of risk and capital management. Provide technical advice and expertise to support sales and marketing initiatives.
Undertaking ad hoc actuarial projects and investigations.
