SUMMARY:
Our client in the automotive sector based in Gauteng has an opportunity for a Product Specialist Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Ã¯Â‚Â· Work with business units in developing business plans to achieve company revenue goals.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Analyse competitive marketplace and industry trends to accordingly develop business strategies for revenue generation.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Establish pricing strategies and guidelines for new product development.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Obtain customer feedback and suggest appropriate product revisions.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams in product development activities.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Support marketing team in developing sales and marketing strategies for profitability.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Conduct product and sales trainings to marketing team.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Provide support for marketing collaterals, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, tradeshows and other promotional activities.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Assist in new product introduction and release activities.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide product engineering, development, management and sales solutions.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Address customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Work with business team to identify new customers and to retain existing customers.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow, sales process and market dynamic.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Maintain complete documentations for all product related activities.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Must be able to conduct training, and improve training material.
Ã¯Â‚Â· In-depth knowledge and understanding of the product its systems and technology.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Must be able to draft in-depth technical reports and spec sheets.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Benchmarking and product research.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Must be able to manage projects.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Work closely with assembly plant to ensure that product related issues are resolved.
Ã¯Â‚Â· Work closely with local vendors to ensure that quality is maintained.

Requirements:

- Relevant tertiary qualification essential
- At least 8 years'' experience within a similar role
- Sales and marketing experience
