Production Accountant

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Production Accountant to join our dynamic finance and operations team.

POSITION INFO:
As a Production Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and maintain accurate costing systems for manufacturing processes
• Perform detailed reconciliations of costs and stock, including variance analysis
• Support production teams with value-driven financial reporting and insights
• Conduct stock reconciliations and identify losses or inefficiencies
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes, especially within BOM and value chain analysis
• Provide financial input on project planning and business improvement initiatives
• Liaise with Financial and Production Managers to ensure alignment of operational and financial objectives

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a costing or manufacturing accounting role
• Relevant qualification (e.g., BCom or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), industry dynamics, and value chains
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Excel (or other ERP/financial systems)
• Highly analytical, assertive, and results-driven with the ability to meet daily deadlines
• Experience in both financial and operational environments (e.g., maintenance, production)
