JOB SUMMARY:
Production Foreman – Light Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Specialists within the field of internal logistics.

Looking for: a hands on Production Foreman.

Supervise a team of 11 persons for the assembly of mechanical goods to meet a daily production target.
Be hands on and take responsibility of machines and setting up of CNC machines .
Must be able to operate on such machines as laths and milling machines (light engineering).
Execute the production plan to meet the daily production target at the correct quality.
Manage the sub-contracting process (zinc plating, welding, etc.)
Ensure the manufacturing machines are serviced correctly and have the highest “up time availability” (we use an outside service company for all machines).
Fill a Health Safety responsibility role for the manufacturing environment.
Optimization and efficiency of production facility.
Staff motivation.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

We seek an experienced individual looking to join a stable international firm. They need to be forward thinking and have had experience working for a medium sized production company. Hands on is important, not want to sit behind the desk, actively working with the team members to meet the production targets.
