SUMMARY:

A market leader in agrochemical products is seeking a driven and experienced Production Manager to lead fertiliser manufacturing operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient, safe and high-quality production across multiple sites, with a strong focus on operational excellence and people development.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field Minimum 5 years' experience in production management, preferably in fertiliser or chemical manufacturing Must have proven experience in contractor management and multi-site operations Strong leadership, planning and analytical skills Solid understanding of procurement, stock control and compliance frameworks The successful candidate will be responsible for: Leading production planning and raw material forecasting. Monitoring usage variance and ensuring consistent product quality. Driving continuous improvement in production efficiency and output. Managing procurement of packaging materials and coordinating repairs and maintenance. Ensuring cost-effective sourcing and equipment reliability. Overseeing contractor performance and compliance. Supervising smaller satellite sites to ensure alignment with central operations. Maintaining optimal stock levels of raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Leading and developing production teams through workforce planning, training and performance management. Ensuring full compliance with safety, legal and environmental regulations and promoting a zero-harm culture.
