SUMMARY:
Our client who is a leading manufacturer of cellular foam is urgently looking for an experienced Production Manager with experience in Supply Chain Management/Logistics.

POSITION INFO:

Location: Sebenza, Edenvale

Job Description: To manage and procure materials for the Gauteng manufacturing plant and ensuring Production Planning, Inventory management, and supply of finished and semi-finished goods from internal and external customers.

Matric
A degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management/Operations Management
10 years of production working experience within a foam environment/within the automotive industry. (non-negotiable)
Must have Syspro ERP system experience
Must have good knowledge of the OHS Act and inventory control.
Must have knowledge of Industrial Relations and the LRA.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility of ensuring the supply of goods for the Gauteng region
Ensuring GIT
Stock takes and cycle counts
Fleet maintenance and servicing
Oversee the performance of the team
Complying with SOP’s, stores, and systems protocol
Relationship management with suppliers
Engaging in continuous improvement activities to optimize the Supply Chain
