JOB DESCRIPTION:

Production Manager Meltshop

Location: Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng

Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements

There is a fantastic new opportunity available for a Production Manager Meltshop at an established steel manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

One will direct and control the operations of the Meltshop.
Ensure and improve the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the departmental and operations through the provision of effective methods and to support continuous improvement in all areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

A completed Bachelor of Engineering Degree / BEng. Degree
10 Years’ experience in a steel manufacturing environment

Must have in- dept knowledge of:

Steel Making
Technical
Metallurgy
ISO 9001
OSHACT
Financial / Cost Control
Project Management
Continuous Improvement
Lean Manufacturing
Exposure to international projects / OEM suppliers
