JOB DESCRIPTION:

Production Manager Mills

Location: Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng

Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

A remarkable manufacturing concern that specialises in steel and wire require the services of a proficient Production Manager Mills.

Key Responsibilities include:

To direct and control the operations of the Mills
Ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the departmental and operations through the provision of effective methods and to support continuous improvement in all areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

A completed Bachelor of Engineering Degree / BEng. Degree
10 Years’ experience in a steel manufacturing environment

Must have in- dept knowledge of:

Steel Making
Technical
Metallurgy
ISO 9001
OSHACT
Financial / Cost Control
Project Management
Continuous Improvement
Lean Manufacturing
Exposure to international projects / OEM suppliers
