SUMMARY:
Our client in Roodepoort is looking for a well experienced candidate to manage the production planning of the business

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP):
To ensure the monthly cycle of S&OP meetings take place and actions put in place to ensure the plan is aligned to the confirmed sales orders in the system.
Scheduling:
Assist with Establishing, implementing and controlling of new warehouse processes and new supply chain procedures and processes in line with the GMP and GDP.
Production Order Management:
To ensure the contribution tracker is an accurate representation of confirmed sales orders.
To ensure all approved documentation needed to support the production plan is available when needed.
Smooth functioning of the weekly planning process.
Customer Relations:
Managing expectations of clients and communicating with production flow to the CRM.
Cost:
To track, analyse and manage the costs incurred as a result of material destruction.
Compliance with Health and Safety Legislation:
Developing, implementing, and improving the health and safety plans, programmes and procedures in the workplace.
Lead compliance with respect to the OSHACT and ensure all employees with the operations/production department comply with the act, report all unsafe conditions and ensure they work safely at all times.
Leadership:
To lead and manage all activities and Personnel in accordance with GxP, Organisational and Operational requirements.
Morale:
Management is responsible to maintain belief in the goal and ensure adequate departmental staff are present each day to deliver the production plans.
Business Profitability:
To achieve business profitability by delivering the annual contribution target.
Training:
To ensure departmental employees are appropriately trained to support business activities.
QMS / CAPAs / SOPs:
Standard Operating Procedures to be in place and functional for each department.
Corrective and Preventative Actions - Events that deviate from procedures or instructions must immediately be reported and investigated.

Requirements:

Applicable qualification
At least five years in a similar environment
Manufacturing or FMCG experience required
Excel advanced skills
