SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct valuations, variations, and final account settlements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on the scope and budget.
• Lead procurement processes and assess contractor claims and progress payments.
• Provide strategic cost advice to ensure value engineering and financial efficiency.

Requirements:

• BSc / BTech in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• PrQS registration with SACQSP (essential).
• Minimum 5+ years post-registration experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in QS software (e.g., WinQS, CostX, or similar).
