Join a Leading Cost Consultancy and Shape Landmark Developments A highly respected and rapidly expanding cost consultancy is seeking a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) to strengthen its growing construction team in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile building and infrastructure projects while advancing their career within a dynamic and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Provide full professional quantity surveying services from project inception through to final account. Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, budgets, and cost plans. Manage tender documentation, procurement processes, and contract administration. Monitor project costs, cash flows, and financial reporting. Conduct valuations, variation assessments, and final account negotiations. Advise clients on cost management strategies and project financial performance. Attend client, consultant, and contractor meetings. Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and contractual requirements. Mentor and support junior quantity surveying staff where required. Minimum Requirements BSc\/BTech Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying. Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with the relevant professional body. Minimum 5-10 years' post-registration experience within a professional quantity surveying consultancy environment. Proven experience on commercial, residential, mixed-use, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles. Excellent report writing, analytical, and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard quantity surveying software. Valid driver's licence and willingness to attend project and client meetings.
