POSITION INFO:

Programme Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Programme Manager. In this role, you will be surrounded by people that are passionate about people development, and who believe world class support services are critical to customer success. This role will have direct influence on how team members leverage resources, interact with clients, and engage with the greater Client’s eco-system.

In this role, you will drive improvements specifically in process, governance, and reporting, focusing on continuous improvement opportunities, while implementing project management methodologies. This role will work with stakeholders to guide the design, test, and deployment of cross-functional solutions to address business strategic and operational objectives.

Key to success will be to take complex problems and break them down into manageable pieces, then ensure timely delivery of solutions. You will identify technical and resource options to successfully deliver and drive adoption of solutions; assessing cost-benefit ROI, identifying, and mitigating risks, managing escalations, anticipating and making trade-offs, and balancing business needs with technical constraints delivering on detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and take responsibility for operationalising approved projects
• Planning, developing, and reviewing and presenting projects for approval
• Manage a diverse team of staff and collaborate with other line managers to reach objectives
• Manage the budget and allocate resources (HR and other) accordingly to ensure programme targets and workplan deliverables are met
• Manage all aspects of programme monitoring and evaluation, including data collection, analysis, and reporting  
• Manage and maintain functional relations with all internal and external stakeholders
• Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills 
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team 
• Good report writing skills 
• Proficiency in MS Office

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor''s Degree in a related field. In lieu of degree, additional years of hands-on experience may be substituted.
• 5+ years of programme management.
• 3+ year of experience in process engineering/continuous improvement.
• Practical knowledge and skill in the use of project management methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects from requirements definition through delivery of solution, including communication of status and results throughout the organization.
• Strong demonstrated knowledge across a broad spectrum of technologies, tools and architecture.
• Experience communicating lean concepts to a wide audience.
• Experience interpreting and communicating analytics.
