SUMMARY:
Our client in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Programme Manager (with 10 years+ experience) to join their team in Midrand.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Programme Manager
Industry: Manufacturing / Automotive
Salary: Market Related
Duration: 1 year fixed term contract
Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Closing date: Friday, 17 September 2021

Job Purpose:

The person will be responsible to manage 4 – 5 projects simultaneously (design and manufacturing of vehicles for various customers).
End to end management of projects, from getting involved with contracting/understanding the financial modelling, understanding the customer requirement and contract deliverables (quantity, quality, cost and time) to invoicing and receiving the payments.

Qualifications:

Engineering Qualification (Preferably Industrial or Mechanical)
Programme Management Qualification

Experience:

10 years’ plus experience in Programme Management – proven track record
Experience in the Automotive, Heavy Vehicle/Truck, Manufacturing environment not construction and not FMCG.

Personal Attributes:

Young, high energy problem solver, agile, results focused, strong business and financial acumen, influential and persuasive, meticulous, emotionally mature/high EQ.
Must be able to stay calm in stressful situations and must be able to speak truth to power, so not a walk over, but diplomatic and tactful.
Must be extremely resilient with a strong personality and leadership skills.
