Key Responsibilities:

They are seeking a Project Accountant who is ready to do more than just crunch numbers. This is your opportunity to be the financial engine behind production lines and capital projects, ensuring they deliver not only on operational ambition but also on fiscal responsibility and compliance. The role includes budgets and forecasts, project cost tracking, revenue recognition, cashflow and reporting.

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

3 – 5 years Project Accountant experience
BCom Accounting
Manufacturing experience advantageous
Accurate revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and project reporting.
Preparation and submission of client invoices and progress claims.
Ensuring full compliance with SARS (VAT, EMP201) and B-BBEE requirements.
Providing crucial financial insights to project managers to drive profitability.
