Project Administrator

SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client for a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join a dynamic Programme Management Office (PMO) based in Centurion for a 6 month contract.

Job Purpose

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Project Management or Project/Office Administration (NQF 6)
• 3–5 years’ proven experience in project or programme administration
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience in document management, reporting, and coordination within a project environment

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer all project and programme activities
• Schedule and manage project and SteerCo meetings, including minute-taking and action tracking
• Maintain and update project documentation, templates, and reporting packs
• Manage and audit project documentation within the project repository
• Ensure compliance with PMO governance and document management procedures
• Upload and manage project documentation via Signiflow for approvals and signatures
• Track project risks, issues, and action items, ensuring timely follow-ups
• Monitor and update project budgets and financial tracking elements
• Assist with requisitions, purchase order reconciliation, and invoice tracking
• Support onboarding of new project resources
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Programme/Project Manager
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO administrative processes and best practices
