JOB SUMMARY:

An established specialist landscaping services company is seeking a strong Project Manager to supervise all commercial landscaping projects, by managing sub-contractors, site staff and all operational tasks and functioning as the contact person between the company management team and the client.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have tertiary qualification in Pharmacology, Zoology, Entomology, Horticulture or similar
Previous regulatory experience, ideally in crop protection, environmental science or animal products would be ideal
Must have experience in compiling dossiers for Act 36 registrations and experience in writing protocols would be an advantage
Experience or understanding of product development processes will be ideal
Must be computer literate and have good communication skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing the operations team and site staff.
Managing equipment, updating the asset lists and scheduling equipment maintenance etc.
Setting up and reviewing daily checklist.
Conducting site visits.
Supervising sub-contractors and coordinating sub-contractor duties.
Ensuring regular client communication.
Attending weekly and monthly client meetings.
Attending briefing sessions and recording required information.
Managing projects and controlling the budgets accordingly.
Ensuring on-time and effective problem solving.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
