SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Construction Manager to lead a large-scale execution project in the Zwartklip area, near Northam. With a project value of approximately R1.5 billion, this is a significant project, and we are looking for the best of the best to ensure its success.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the construction execution of a large, high-profile smelter project.
Ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams.
Implement best practices in EPCM project management.
Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Liaise effectively with Anglo American Platinum and other key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

B.Eng/B.Sc/BTech in Engineering.
Construction project management qualification.
20+ years of experience in large, complex capital projects within the EPCM industry.
Smelter project experience preferred.
Strong track record in managing projects with major firms such as Anglo Platinum, DRA, Worley Parsons, TWP, Hatch, RSV, Wood, METC, SGS, etc.
Previous experience with Anglo American / Anglo American Platinum projects preferred.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Physically fit and able to work on-site.
