Project Delivery Manager - Remote

We’re looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join a fast-growing technology business delivering software and technical solutions to customers within the telecommunications sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong project professional who enjoys working in a customer-facing, technology-driven environment and has a proven track record of managing technical or software projects from initiation through to successful delivery. The Opportunity As Project Delivery Manager, you'll take ownership of customer projects, coordinating internal technical teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard . You'll work closely with customers as well as teams across Development, Business Intelligence, QA, Infrastructure, AI and other technical functions . The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the telecommunications industry , strong project management fundamentals, and the ability to confidently engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll also develop a strong understanding of the company's technology platforms and solutions, allowing you to become a trusted point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery Manage customer projects from initiation through to successful delivery. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables. Ensure projects remain aligned with agreed scope, requirements and customer expectations. Coordinate resources across multiple technical and business teams. Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, delays and blockers. Drive actions through to resolution and escalate delivery risks where appropriate. Manage multiple projects and competing customer priorities simultaneously. Facilitate project governance, progress meetings and internal delivery sessions. Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout project delivery. Build strong, professional relationships with customer stakeholders. Understand, document and communicate customer requirements to internal teams. Provide clear and regular updates on project status, risks, dependencies and timelines. Coordinate customer workshops, demonstrations, training and acceptance activities. Manage customer expectations and handle escalations professionally. Product & Technical Understanding Develop a strong working knowledge of the company's software products and solutions. Understand how technology solutions are deployed and utilised within telecommunications environments. Build sufficient technical knowledge to engage effectively with customers and technical teams. Translate customer requirements into clear business and technical delivery requirements. Keep up to date with new product functionality and relevant telecommunications technologies. Customer Support & Issue Resolution Provide high-level product and customer support when required. Assist with the investigation and coordination of customer issues and escalations. Conduct an initial assessment of customer queries and route them to the appropriate technical teams. Coordinate issue resolution across relevant teams while maintaining effective customer communication. Governance & Reporting Maintain accurate project documentation, actions, decisions, risks and dependencies. Track project activities and deliverables using Jira and other relevant project\/customer systems. Provide clear and accurate project reporting to relevant stakeholders. What We're Looking For Experience 3-7 years' experience in project management, project delivery or a similar technical delivery role. Telecommunications industry experience is essential. Proven experience managing customer-facing software, technology or technical projects . Experience coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders. Strong understanding of project planning, timelines, risks, dependencies and deliverables. Experience working in Agile\/Scrum environments . Exposure to telecommunications software, OSS or network management systems would be advantageous. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business Information Systems or a related discipline. A recognised project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile\/Scrum certification would be advantageous. You'll be organised, commercially aware and confident managing expectations, solving delivery challenges and keeping complex projects moving forward. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, practical requirements and outcomes.
